Born and raised in northern California to an architect and a real-estate attorney, Jody Donley has the ideal foundation for selling and buying homes. Over the course of 30 years of running successful businesses and developing successful properties together, Jody’s parents taught her the value of commitment, collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit.
While starring in the 400-meter hurdles for the University of California at Davis, Jody nurtured her passion for fleet feet with a business opportunity. She managed a specialty running store, selling shoes, clothing and planning large racing events. After graduation in 1992, Jody continued her climb in retail management with the Gap, where she operated a high volume store with over 50 employees. Jody later pursued an opportunity as a Claim Specialist with State Farm Insurance. As part of the National Catastrophe Team, she traveled across the country, helping thousands of policy holders recover from devastating storms.
After moving to Denver in 1998 with her new husband Matthew, the couple started a family with the birth of their daughter, Shelby. Over the next four years, the Donleys purchased and remodeled two Denver homes. During that time, Jody developed a passion for home improvement projects, including tiling, carpentry, drywall, painting and landscaping.
Ready for a new career challenge, Jody took her entrepreneurial spirit to the world of real estate, where she generated over $40 million in sales in just three years. Yet with a family foundation in real estate, Jody knew she could do more. In October 2005, she founded New Perspective Real Estate, LLC. Since starting New Perspective, Jody has built a reputation for outstanding client service in Metro Denver. Jody is an avid golfer and soccer mom who enjoys gourmet cooking (and eating) and playing scrabble.

Although she’s a native of the Cajun state of Louisiana, Melinda had an opportunity to experience different cultures up close and personal growing up in England and Argentina. After returning to Louisiana and graduating from college, Melinda founded and operated her own children’s clothing business for 13 years. In 2002, she brought her diverse background and entrepreneurial skills to the real estate business as a new home sales professional with local builder Wonderland Homes in Stapleton. From the beginning, Melinda seized her opportunity to nurture the brand new development from blueprints and dirt into a vibrant and diverse community. Melinda’s budding knowledge of new construction proved to be invaluable as she quickly sold over 250 homes. Looking to broaden her horizons, she joined NPRE in 2008 and has since helped dozens of buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals.

Born in Hawaii to an army recruit, Jaryd soon found himself traveling the world with suitcase in tow. After finishing high school, he pursued an engineering degree at the University of Colorado. All it took was four years of absorbing the incomparable sunshine and outdoor recreation of Colorado and Jaryd’s wanderlust was over. He’d found home. Jaryd’s professional career began in civil engineering where he consulted on projects for state, municipal and private clients. Many of his projects were related to auto, light rail, aviation, bicycle, and pedestrian transportation. As he began to create a real estate investment portfolio for himself, Jaryd realized he enjoyed the real estate business more than engineering, and the career switch was made. Jaryd joined NPRE in 2007, bringing his analytical style and warm personality into the fold. Since joining the team, he’s worked with dozens of engineers and non-engineers alike throughout many Denver neighborhoods, including Mayfair, Capitol Hill, Park Hill, Stapleton and the Highlands, as well as the surrounding cities of Arvada, Centennial, Highlands Ranch and Commerce City.
